My wife and I have been long distance friends of both Betty and Gerry, we have been annual musical visitors to St Merryn since the early seventies and have enjoyed Gerry’s company on many occasions over the years. We will miss his company and send our condolences to his family. Thank you for your friendship, one of nature’s gentlemen.

I was a member of staff at the British Red Cross Headquarters in Truro for many years. I have very fond memories of both Gerry and Betty Chandler. As volunteers, they gave so much of their time to help others and to raise money for the BRC in Cornwall, in the St Merryn Area in particular. Sincere condolences to all the family.
